How it Works

The basis behind Tiimo is easy! A customer orders a product they want picked up. At the time of pick up, the customer will then place an order with Tiimo to pick up the product. The Tiimo driver will pick up the order and deliver it to the specified destination. Simple right? Let's get into the details.

Step 1: Customer Orders Product

Important Note: Customers do not order their product(s) through Tiimo. You must go directly to the 3rd party you are ordering from and prepay for your product!
Customers will place an order for pickup through their desired warehouse, supply shop, etc. They will prepay for the item(s) through the 3rd party where the item is coming from. This is important to remember because Tiimo drivers won't be able to pick up your item if it has not yet been paid for. This will also cost the customer money if they need to place another delivery.

Step 2: Customer Orders Delivery

After the order for the product has been placed and the item is ready for pickup, the customer will then set up a delivery through the Tiimo app or website. The customer will set the pickup address and the dropoff address. They will also select the type of vehicle required for the pickup. Smaller or fewer items could be transported in a car while a larger number of items may need a truck. It is important for the customer to recognize the vehicle size needed. Customer will then select their payment method and submit their order. Remember, Tiimo drivers are just one person. Please be sure the item(s) being delivered can be handled by one person.

Step 3: Driver Does the Delivery

After the delivery order has been placed, a driver in the area will receive an alert of the order. The driver can accept or refuse the delivery. A refused delivery will go to the next available driver. Once a driver accepts, they can then navigate through the job. The job is separated into two tasks: Pick Up and Drop. The driver will first navigate to the Pick Up task. When there, the customer will tell the store who they are picking up for. They will receive the item(s) and take a picture before continuing the order. After pickup, drivers will navigate to the drop off destination. Once they arrive, they will unload the item(s) on the property and take another picture. This will conclude the delivery process. The customer can then rate the driver and tip.
